Richard Arlen was born on November 1, 1898 in Charlottesville, Virginia. He died on March 28, 1976 in North Hollywood, California. Who accidently became a famous actor. It all started when he crashed into the gates of Paramount Pictures and broke his leg. Paramount studios gave him the proper medical care needed. They were ” impressed by his good looks”so they gave him a job working  in the studios. During his time though they had silent films around. His was silent films like Wings (1927), Beggars for Life (1928), Ladies of the Mob (1928), and The Man I Love (1929) Three Live Ghosts (1936) and many many more. He was also on TV shows and in commercials. He left the  movie business  the late 1960s after only doing small roles. Some even came out the year that he died.
